Práce přináší výsledky dotazníkového průzkumu uskutečněného v období od 1. 7. Do 15. 8. 2009 s cílem zjistit počet zaměstnaných lékárníků a farmaceutických asistentů a jejich vzájemný poměr v jednotlivých typech lékáren v ČR. Bylo osloveno všech 2 603 existujících lékáren. Návratnost dotazníků činila 20,7 %. V jedné lékárně bylo zaměstnaných v průměru 2,74 (průměrný přepočtený počet 2,60) lékárníků a 2,21 (resp. 2,12) farmaceutických asistentů, což odpovídá vzájemnému poměru lékárník - farmaceutický 
asistent 1 : 0,81. V 21,7 % lékáren pracoval pouze jeden lékárník, v 18,0 % lékáren nebyl zaměstnán ani jeden farmaceutický asistent.

A CONTRIBUTION TO THE PHARMACY STAFFING IN THE CZECH REPUBLIC

The questionnaire survey was performed from July 1 to August 15 2009. The aim of this study was to find out the number of pharmacists and pharmacy laboratory technicians working in various types of pharmacies in the Czech Republic and their mutual relationship. The questionnaire was sent to each out of the 2,603 pharmacies. Questionnaires return rate was 20.7%. There were 2.74 pharmacists (full time equivalent 2.60) and 2.21 pharmacy laboratory technicians (full time equivalent 2.12) employed in one pharmacy on average. The ratio of individual categories at an average was as follows: 1 : 0.81. The number and relationship of both categories of pharmacy workers differed from the pharmacy type. Only one pharmacist was employed in 21.7% pharmacies, there was no pharmacy laboratory technician employed in 18.0% pharmacies.
